Gordon Shedden will be gunning for his second victory of 2008 when the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship visits Snetterton on Sunday 13 July.
Shedden, who is competing in his third season for Team Halfords, currently lies seventh in the BTCC standings, although can perhaps count himself unfortunate not to be higher after a number of knock-backs.
Snetterton has been a strong circuit for the Scottish driver and last year he took a race win at the Norfolk track. He was also a competitive sixth in pre-event testing there last week.
"I won here last year and would love to get on the top step of the podium again," said Shedden. "Snetterton always provides close racing and I can't wait to get the second half of the season started.
"The circuit has a real mix of tight and fast corners with two super-fast straights. Horsepower and slipstreaming are a must around here and you often see four cars abreast at the end of the Revett Straight vying for position."
