In 2005 Fast-Tec entered the BTCC with the ex-Rob Collard 2003 Independent championship winning Astra Coupe. Throughout the year they suffered many problems with pace and reliability.
For 2006 the team ran the ex Arena Motorsport Honda Civic Type R that Tom Chilton scored four outright wins with in 2005. A series of engine problems led to the team withdrawing from the series, ironically in the last two outings at Snetterton and Knockhill Proctor scored his best results of the year!
