GR Asia are very experienced having previously raced in both the WTCC and ETCC.
In 2006 they won the Independents championship in the WTCC with Tom Coronel. In 2007 they raced in both the WTCC and at non clashing events, the BTCC.
Adam Jones raced a Seat Toledo under the Team Air Cool banner, and was extremely impressive. For the last three events of the year GR Asia also ran one of their WTCC leons in the BTCC, firstly for Gavin Smith and then for Rob Collard.
For 2008 the team will run a Seat Leon for the uber-quick
Adam Jones. Considering he was able to mix it with the big teams in the old Toledo he should be even quicker this year, a strong contender for the independents title.
