Geoff Steel Racing has an enviable 30 years of experience building, preparing and running BMWs for various championships including the Kumho BMW Championship, Britcar and in 2006 a return to the BTCC.
The car they’re using is a works BMW Team Schnitzer machine that Dirk Muller used to finish 2nd with in the 2005 World Touring Car Championship.
Bell is a very popular in the paddock with both the fans and drivers, however it’s fair to say he had a difficult year in 2006. In 2007 he unlocked more of the potential of the car with help from former works BTCC driver Kelvin Burt.
For 2008 Bell has joined Arkas Racing
which is run by Tech-Speed Motorsport
