Mark Smith and his small team have 15 years of experience behind them and have most recently been contending the Volkswagon Cup, where they were always a podium contender.

In 2006 they competed in the BTCC, with a super 2000 spec Alfa Romeo 156. This car was built from a from a works World Touring Car shell. The team struggled with pace and reliability but they did improve well over the course of the year.
